SWR at the Work-Based Learner Awards
We were delighted to attend the very first Work-Based Learner Awards at Astley Cooper School on 9th May.And what a night it was! Nathan Hansford, a student who completed his WBL in our Production Team, walked away with the Award for Resilience and Commitment—a testament to his hard work and our dedication to high-quality training.
SWR also won an award for completing all WBL schemes for the year. This was particularly special as we played a big part in helping Astley Cooper become only the second school in getting the project off the ground.
“We have really led the way in many aspects. The feedback from the school has been superb and our effort has not only had a positive effect on our two Work-Based Learners but all others. It’s an excellent way to support young people in the community”. Jason Lee - MD at SWR
