The park’s reputation as one of the island’s best attractions is thanks to a number of top facilities, including a low course for families plus high course and monkey tree for the more daring. The monkey tree in particular is a challenge for those who with a head for heights.
Visitors to Ape Mann can typically find themselves making their way through rope courses, crawling through sky barrels, whizzing down zip-lines or even taking a daring leap of faith. Also, thanks to their continuous lifeline system, there’s no clipping the safety harness on and off as you do the activities which means fun for both children and adults
SWR has been supplying Ape Mann Adventure Park with wire rope and fittings since it first opened its doors. Safety is paramount at adventure parks so Ape Mann needed the highest quality and hard-wearing components to meet strict industry standards.
The Products
The Result
The customer required 1000 metres of 10mm galvanized wire rope for hanging elements between their tree platforms. They also needed 550 metres of 12mm rope for zip wires and fall protection harnesses. In addition, Ape Mann requested 3000 cable clamps along with thimbles and other fixings.
Our technical team closely ran through the order with our customer to ensure the initial request was best suited for their requirements. Once finalised, we got to work putting the order together in our production facility.
At SWR, we always have large volumes of key products in stock which means shorter lead times for our customers. Also, they’re analysed for impurities before being -put into stock. That way the customer knows our wire rope and fittings are of the highest quality.
All products were packaged by one of our trusted couriers then shipped out to our customer in the Isle of Mann on time and in perfect condition.
