HOW WE CAN HELP
SWR supply two different designs of hose safety cables. 'Whipcheck' Safety Cables have been used for many years on air compressor hoses to prevent hose ends from 'whipping' if the coupling blows out of the hose. The all new 'Whipblock' Safety Cables are a new alternative to 'Whipchecks' They have a dual layered coating of Kevlar and Polyester and this along with its new design makes it safer and stronger than a traditional 'Whipcheck'.
A traditional 'Whipcheck' is constructed of steel wire rope and plated springs, with aluminium ferrules standard for hose to hose 'Whipchecks'. The new design of a Whipblock is constructed using steel wire rope that is coated in Kevlar and Polyester. Its choke system does not rely on springs under constant tension which can lead to the loop loosening. If you have bespoke requirements, please contact our team and we will be happy to help.
