8mm 6x19 galvanised wire rope with a fibre core was the best product to use for the customers’ wakeboarding systems. It’s more flexible and perfect for applications where the rope needs to run over pulleys.

Customer required 1000 metres of 10mm galvanised wire rope for hanging elements. They also needed 550 metres of 12mm rope for zip wires and fall protection harnesses, plus 3000 cable clamps along with other fixings.

Customer ordered thousands of metres of wire rope, which was cut in our workshop. This was integrated into their Model 84 military armor, ensuring the vest could be removed reliably and quickly by the soldier.

SWR supplied a great product, but I’m also impressed with their commitment to providing the best possible service. From initial meeting through to final design, SWR listened closely to our requirements…I found them excellent to work with.

The product development programme with SWR will generate interest, give us something to promote and provide a better end user experience. This is beyond a supplier customer relationship and we are grateful to SWR for the support.

SWR’s quote turnaround was very quick and allowed for split deliveries. This meant I could send new dimensions and have the next batch of wire on site within a week…I would definitely use SWR again.
