Automated Wire Rope Dereeler Machine
The Gripple Dereeler is the effective way to process a range of braided wire rope plus electrical and mono filament cables.
Compact and fully automated, the Dereeler can process a range of diameters in up to 20 metres per seconds. Handling wire reels up to 400kg and wire diameters of between 1 and 6mm, it integrates seamlessly into other downstream equipment such as the Gripple Fuser.
Features include automatic drum width sensing and end-of-reel detection. The Gripple Dereeler also has a simple user interface that allows you to change accumulator tension profiles and analyse the system’s diagnostics.
Moving and handling issues can be eliminated thanks to the Dereeler’s automated drum clamping and lifting features. Designed to save you precious time spent on manual tasks, the Gripple Dereeler will help streamline your manufacturing operation.

8mm 6x19 galvanised wire rope with a fibre core was the best product to use for the customers’ wakeboarding systems. It’s more flexible and perfect for applications where the rope needs to run over pulleys.
Industry Wake

Customer required 1000 metres of 10mm galvanised wire rope for hanging elements. They also needed 550 metres of 12mm rope for zip wires and fall protection harnesses, plus 3000 cable clamps along with other fixings.
Ape Mann

Customer ordered thousands of metres of wire rope, which was cut in our workshop. This was integrated into their Model 84 military armor, ensuring the vest could be removed reliably and quickly by the soldier.

SWR’s quote turnaround was very quick and allowed for split deliveries. This meant I could send new dimensions and have the next batch of wire on site within a week…I would definitely use SWR again.
